Sugarplum™ Nourishing Lip Balm

I like the buildable nature of this colour. Decent size tube. The texture so far is a bit strange - feels a bit gritty but not sure if that will change. Also find it a little bit too fat for applying on my lips but that’s probably a me problem!

I didn’t get on with this lip balm, unfortunately. I was hoping for it to be a more subtle alternative to a lipstick. I found the balm very hard and I needed a lot of swipes to get an adequate amount on my lips which resulted in an uneven and very dark colour that I didn’t like. As my lips were dry, the colour seemed to collect on the dry bits which looked quite unattractive as the balm wore off. I‘ve tried it again since my lips are in better condition (which slightly defeats the need for a balm!) but had similar results. I bought this at the same time as the Nectar lip balm which I found so much better (and have bought more of). I love the non-plastic packaging and the balms are chunkier and not as greasy than most you buy in shops, which I also think is great.

I’m a regular customer and use a number of other Ethique products, all of which I’m very happy with. This one just wasn’t for me.

I love this, adds a little colour while giving the moisture I need. Apply it again and it gets darker so you can pick your colour

I love the sugarplum lip balm,

Its not very moisturizing on the lips but gives a lovely color,

apart from I Would not call it lip balm I Would call it lipstick .
