Disappointed to see” Fragrance (Parfum)” in the ingredients
I really like the products but I was very disappointed to see Fragrance (Parfum) in the ingredients for the volumizing products. I feel a little green-washed. At least the strengthening shampoo doesn’t have it. I’ll have to see if the unscented products work with my hair type.

We're sorry that you are disappointed. We do however list all ingredients on our website so you can make an informed purchase and know exactly what is included in each product formulation.
I’d love to help explain how we fragrance our products - for most products, we use essential oils, which are listed individually where they appear. For certain scents, essential oils either don’t exist (like vanilla and coconut) or would be highly unsustainable to produce at scale (like passionfruit and pear). In those cases, we use nature-identical perfume oils. These are carefully crafted in a lab to mimic natural scents. They are phthalate-free, PFA-free, safe, and help reduce the environmental impact of sourcing natural ingredients that would otherwise be difficult or unsustainable to obtain. Currently, we only use four different perfume oils in our haircare range. This means that only products with those notes will list Fragrance (Parfum) on the ingredient list. "Fragrance (Parfum)” is a legally required term for all fragrances, whether natural, nature-identical, or synthetic.
