What's in our EVERYDAY SHINE Shampoo Bar
I'm really pleased with the EVERYDAY SHINE shampoo bar! It easily works up a nice lather, and a little goes a long way once it gets lathering. It has a nice smell, and makes my hair feel good.
I recently contacted Ethique customer service about how I loved the mini of this amazing bar in their annual gift box and wish I would've gotten 2 of them instead of the 2 I'd spent my recent birthday gift points on. To my absolute surprise, the incredible representative I spoke to offered to send me 2 free full size bars of the Pinkalicious since it was my belated birthday. I was stunned and as someone who lives on a very tight income and only buys what morally I agree with and what I need alone, the beyond kind gesture will go so far and as I told the lovely woman who helped me, it made the end of my year. These bars are perfection. My oily, fine hair hasn't felt this good in years and I'm going days in between washes and can't stop feeling the texture of my hair, it's so full and matte. Nice to have a trial size for testing to see if it’s the right product. Works great for my fine grey hair.
Decent shampoo bar that suds up well, but is not safe for color-treated hair. Every time I used this, dye was washing out of my hair weeks after it had been dyed at the salon. This has never happened with any other shampoo I've used.

While all our shampoo and conditioners are specially formulated to be safe for colour-treated hair (both permanent and semi-permanent), and won't fade colour any quicker than conventional liquid shampoo or conditioners would, these aren't colour locking products.
Completely understand though, if this bar is not best suited for you at this time!

Pinkalicious is designed for balanced to oily hair so gives quite a deep cleanse and you may find a shampoo like Bar Minimum or Sorbet better suited as it's more gentle being sulfate-free - however there are a lot of factors in how to look after dyed hair and this may not make too much of a different (I recommend looking at the how to prolong colour post!).
