Cute and Applies Nicely
Applies really well, even on my often chapped lips! This shade takes more swipes than some of the darker reds, I think because it is so subtle, but when it has been layered on, it has a nice smooth look without much fuss.
The big bonus is the earth friendly nature of this product! I love getting a better for the earth version of everyday products without sacrificing quality. Worth buying. It is long lasting both in terms of number of times you can use the product as well as how long it will last on your lips (and I am not someone who is careful about keeping my color on!).
The reason for 4 stars instead of 5:
The shape/packaging could use some improvement. The lipstick is very wide, making it harder to apply than a traditional lipstick tip. I wish it had more of a traditional shape for cleaner lines; getting the sides/points of the lips can be difficult with how wide it is. By no means a deal breaker, but a design note for future versions of the product. Additionally, the bottom could use a little more width around the stick so that you can more easily avoid damaging the tip while putting the cap back on. Definitely not smacking off chunks or anything, but it would be nice to not have to be so careful for us folks in a rush.
This exact shade might not be for me- I was looking for more a peachy pink and it appears more beige like on me, which can be flattering in some lighting and less so in others. Good for more neutral looks rather than the everyday pink I was hoping…
