Ready for an easy-to-use shampoo bar? Wet your hair and the bar. Massage the bar into your roots throughout your scalp. Put the bar down and lather shampoo into hair.
Rinse (and repeat, if needed) and follow with conditioner.

Finally found the one!

After years of searching for a bar that actually cleaned my hair (including other ethique bars)- this one is it for me! My hair feels clean after shampooing and I can go about 4/5 days between washing (took a few months to build up to that). It lathers very easily and smells great too.

Current Favorite

Pinkalicious is my current favorite because it got my hair to a place I never though I would get to achieve: not having to wash my hair everyday. Since I learned about it potentially being healthier to not wash your hair everyday and then dipping into coloring my hair and it really being better to not wash as often, I've not once been able to comfortably go without a daily wash. I cannot emphasize how I truly have tried just about every method, including a crazy stint during maternity leave without washing a whole month in order to try to "retrain" my hair. But I digress. Pinkalicious cleanses my hair in a way that I feel nice and clean without stripping, but the next day my hair still looks nice! It actually looks almost like cute shiny moisturized hair, instead of my normal Severus Snape hair on day 2. So I can COMFORTABLY wash every other day now and don't need to use dry shampoo. This is such a huge win for me as a busy/lazy worker and mom. Pinkalicious got my hair to place I never thought I would get to, so it's my current love.

All that to say though, I don't think it's super color friendly. I can't say how well it would do with professional permanent hair color, but currently I'm doing leave in conditioner coloring at home that's meant to last longer than it has with my Pinkalicious use. For me personally it's not really an issue because it's not a huge deal to just keep color conditioning, and in fact I kind of like the fading it's done on my hair (you can see moreā€¦

Love it

My hair is stronger than ever. With this gentle shampoo, I can go longer between washes. Works well. If it doesnā€™t sud like you prefer, make sure your hair is very wet or rinse and wash a second time. There are more suds on the second wash.

Smells yummy

Bought it for my teens. Smells delicious, aeasy to use and does the job and love the no plastic ! . Wont ever go back to plastic bottles !
