SCALP HEALTH Shampoo Bar

I've had dandruff since I was in middle school, and I always used Head & Shoulders to keep it in check. I wanted to move away from plastic bottles and use a more natural product, but I've been dissatisfied with natural options in the past. Not this! I've been using it for years now and have had no flakes. It lathers nicely and is so easy to travel with -- no spills in my luggage and no hassles with carrying liquids through security. For as long as I can remember I've had scalp psoriasis, I've visited dermatologists off and on to try and figure out the cause however we we never able to determine it. A year ago or so I decided to switch to shampoo bars, specifically Ethique Scalp Health to try and cut back on my plastic consumption. I was a little nervous as in the past when I've tried shampoo bars my hair would end up looking dirty / greasy even right after a shower. Fortunately for me that was not the case with this shampoo bar and since I've been using it my scalp has cleared up considerably. I still have patches from time to time but it is nothing like what I was dealing with. It could just be that there is something in liquid shampoo causing the psoriasis but regardless of whatever the issue steamed from I do not see myself returning to liquid shampoo in the future. I've used and loved this products for years, I find it really helps with dry scalp health and comfort, lathers well and leaves my hair feeling fresh and clean without product build up. Pairs really well with Ethique's hydrating conditioner bar. Better value than regular shampoo, without nasty stuff, keeps well if you use a good storage method (I use a shampoo bar bag), which makes it great for travel too. Just love it and want to keep supporting Ethique to keep doing what they're doing, because it's great!
