Sorry to say I did not care for this conditioner at all. Much like the shampoo I found this to be messy, did not live up to expectations, left a mess on the towels and in the shower. My hair did not feel conditioned, it felt like it had residual product on it despite a complete rinse, it left my hair flat and lifeless, I did try this 3 different times with the shampoo. My impression never changed. As I said on the review for the shampoo I bought this as a mini and am glad I didn’t pay full price. This is a total miss for me. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your feedback on the bars, but I'm sorry to hear you didn't love our purple products!
The nature of purple hair care products - whether they are ours or other brands - is that they are a little more high maintenance than other shampoos and conditioners. Unfortunately for the blondes and silver foxes, this means they can be a bit messy!
We don't use synthetic colour additives instead we choose to use mica but what this means is that we have to put roughly 55 x of the mica in our toning bar compared to our standard shampoo bar. As you are actively trying to colour and tone the hair when using purple products, transfer can be inevitable. This is a particular con for those who use this type of hair care to enhance and extend their colour.
Our best tips, are to rinse down your shower/bath after each use and keep your Tone it Down Bars on a tray in a storage container.
