🌹Ethique’s Sugarplum Tinted Lip Balm Review 💋

💋A nice option for those who miss Ethique’s lipstick line. Super minty, buildable color, and keeps your lips nice and hydrated during the cold months. You may need to reapply after eating, talking for long periods of time, etc. A little bit of product goes a long way, and I expect the Sugarplum lip balm to last quite a while! (As have my other Ethique lipsticks… which probably should be composted at this point because they are years old!)

🌹The color can range between Snapdragon or Dahlia from Ethique’s old lipstick line, depending on how much you decide to apply, and leans more towards a red/pink tone.

Hoping this would be a holy grail product I ordered two. The color is lovely and the packaging is high quality.

My only complaint is I found the balm to be incredibly drying. My lips end up super dry and irritated after wearing it for 30 minutes or so. So much so that I cannot wear it.

I have dry, sensitive skin, so maybe that has something to do with it. Other people seem to really love it, so maybe I'm just unlucky. But I felt it was worth mentioning.

Beautiful color that doesn't look too bright or dark. Lasts and doesn't seem to rub off onto my coffee mug. Durable and nourishing enough to withstand my days outside in a nature preschool.

I wanted a tinted lip balm that would be a good everyday staple, and after about a month of use I've really liked this product. The color is very buildable, and I usually only need a swipe or two to see a noticeable difference.

However, I deducted a star because I have found the balm drying. It has a minty smell and cooling sensation when applied, which is pleasant but is probably the cause of the dryness. I can still use it daily by also using some Vaseline on top, but it does prevent it being a single product solution.

Lasts ages
