1. Snap both blocks into triangles and pop into a heat-proof jug.
2. Add 300ml (10.14 fl. oz.) of boiling water and whisk vigorously with a whisk. Mix until fully melted. For extra creaminess and dreaminess, give it a burst with a stick blender!
3. Allow it to cool slightly, then pour into a bottle (or two) you already own. It won't thicken up immediately, so leave for an hour or two to reach perfect consistency.

Massage already mixed lotion concentrate generously into skin, paying attention to those rough or dry areas in need of some extra TLC. Use directly after showering on damp skin for extra nourishment.

Use any airtight container such as a glass jar, plastic container or aluminum container.

Pleasantly surprised

This moisturiser was surprisingly easy to make and the texture came out perfect!

Amazing Lotion

This lotion concentrate is amazing! I don't love using the lotion bars, but this concentrate is perfect so I get the traditional lotion application without the plastic packaging. I am prone to eczema and dry skin, and this helps keep me hydrated.

Perfect!

I was trying out different zero waste lotions and all of them seemed to watery for me, even in the hot weather. This is truly creamy and moisturizing! The prep was simple - just need a bowl, water and funnel. I did end up using a hand mixer. My one smidge of a complaint is that the feel of my skin afterwards, even though it’s very hydrated, feels waxy. I have that problem with a lot of the Ethique cream products, like the lip balm - just very wax heavy. Still not a deterrent though! Please make more scents! A vanilla would be awesome!
