This is perfect. It takes the yellow out of my hair.
Helps me to transition from blond to grey as my hair is less brassy.
Sadly the tone it down did not tone it down.
I love ethique bars and am sad to say this one didn't perform. It did not help with the toning I needed.

May I ask what colour your hair and how you were using this one?
I ask as sometimes, it can take a few tweaks in how you use the bar to get the best results for your hair. I've copied below how we recommend using our Shampoo and Conditioner Bars, in case it's helpful (apologies if I'm just reiterating what you already know):
Similarly, only a few swipes of our conditioner bars are needed (4-5) - hair won't feel slippery on application the way it will with liquid conditioners, but the silky magic happens when the conditioner is rinsed out.
If you have thick hair, to make applying product on easier, I'd recommend sectioning hair into two or four, and rubbing the bar on each section to make sure there is enough product distributed - in saying this a little goes a long way, so make sure you aren't using too much! 😊
